We’re Focused on What Matters Most Right Now in Anderson County, South Carolina

At the Junior League of Anderson County, we live in the moment. To us, that means adjusting our focus according to our community’s most pressing needs. Our work is always evolving, and that keeps us on our toes, striving for progress, and preparing to take on whatever comes next.

Our current community goal of serving the women and children in Anderson County. In 2022-2023 we plan to formalize a new strategic partnership structure with Calvary Home for Children and Women and Children Succeeding program by AIM. We are joining arms with Calvary Home for Children to provide kids in care with life skills as well as providing assistance to the foster families holistically. We are partnering with AIM and the WACS program to help empower moms to reach their career goals by earning an Associate or Bachelor’s Degree. JLAC partners with the Anderson County Sheriff’s Office to ensure our children are safe by providing car seats to families in need. In 2021-2022 we have provided over $13,000 in car seats annually. As well as given over $5,000 out to Anderson County non profits.

Our goal is to help Anderson County women develop civic leadership skills through the work they do, then put those talents to work in the communities that need it. Our current focus of voluntarism and leadership gives women opportunities to grow, while positively impacting the communities where they live and work.
